Call for Volunteers
At PBCCC we have a great Juniors "Master Blasters" programme that takes place on Friday night. As a service to this community we have the canteen open and we are asking for more volunteers to help out. If you are able to assist the cricket club please come along on a Friday afternoon and speak to one of the committee members. Any amount of help is greatly appreciated. 
Junior Presentation Day
Date: Sunday 31st March (Last day of Grand Finals Matches).
Time: From 12:30pm (for lunch), with official proceedings to start at 1pm.
To break up into individual teams for distribution of team specific trophies
following official proceedings. 
Where: Salk Oval.
Things to bring: A fold up chair or rug, hats/sunscreen/sunshade,
and a great sense of community spirit. 

Photos will be taken on the day for use in promoting the cricket club on social media. Please make it known to the photographers if you would not like your child included in these photos. 


Message for all Junior Players who are also playing Grade (Senior) Cricket:

There is a $60 fee for this, which includes all umpires fees, player insurance, ball costs, ground maintenances and a second playing shirt. 

Please arrange pick up of your second playing shirt with your team manager.

Portable Shades Available for loan 
Our cricket club has a number of portable shades available for loan thanks to a generous donation. Please consider good sun-safe practices particularly for those fields that have little or limited shade. The portable shades are available for pick up on Friday afternoons at Salk Oval.  
Message from Junior Cricket Co-ordinator
Welcome to the 2018/19 Palm Beach Currumbin cricket season. 

Training schedules will be as follows: 
Time: 4pm -6pm 
Place : Salk Oval 
Days: Monday 10yrs-11yrs 
Tuesday under 12"s 
Wednesday under 13's, 15"s and 17's 
Thursday under 14's 

After this initial weeks of training, Coaches will then arrange training times and place for each individual team. 

If you have not already registered, or if you have a friend that is interested in playing this season, please come along this week and join us.

Congratulations to Lachlan Crump, Harry Allen and Riley Gadsby for being selected in the Lord's Taverners U16 competition. This is a Queensland Cricket Pathway and plays a key role in forming the QLD U16 State Challenge.

Congratulations to Harry Allen for being recognised as the Sam La Frantz Warehouse wicket keeper of the year for 2018. Harry took 18 catches and 5 stumpings.  It is the first time in the 97 year history of the competition that a junior wicket keeper has won the award.

Get Started Sport and Recreation Vouchers
